Angel's Villa is a single-storey, three-bedroom villa, complete with a 12 x 3 metre lap pool, hidden in the heart of the Petitenget area on Bali’s south-western coast. The villa is comprised of two buildings and a relaxation pavilion set within a compact walled garden planted with heliconia and palms. The style is simple and minimalist, characterised by clean lines, fresh décor and privacy. The colour scheme is chocolate and coffee, with crisp white walls displaying some colourful local artwork. The villa is equipped with WiFi Internet access and numerous other thoughtful considerations for the comfort of the guests. The entrance is marked by a rustic wooden door, and the artwork includes antique sculptures lovingly collected by the owner from the East Nusa Tenggara islands of Indonesia. :: 3. Villa Awang-Awang
Awang-Awang can be translated as “floating in the space between heaven and earth” – the perfect description for this beautiful villa perched on the edge of a gorge with breathtaking views of the sacred Petanu River and lush tropical forest. Situated in the cool highlands 5 kms from Ubud, famous for its fine art galleries, restaurants and rich cultural life, the villa is a 50 minute drive from the air-port. The ten minute drive from Ubud meanders through stunning scenery of lush ricefields, mountains and the sacred volcano Gunung Agung towering in the distance. The house was designed by the Balinese architect Ir. Ida Bagus Wiadnyana according to ancient traditions with the correct alignments toward the holy mountain. :: 6. Villa Leha-Leha
Villa Leha-Leha takes its name from the Javanese word for peace, day-dreaming, or relaxing. It’s an appropriate title for this enchanting four bedroom retreat, complete with swimming pool and plunge pools, nestled on the edge of Bali’s sacred Ayung River near the sea. Villa Leha-Leha is equipped with four self-contained bedroom suites, each located in private thatched pavilions and each one linked to its own indoor bathroom and private outdoor shower. Two of the bedrooms boast private plunge pools and two are supplied with music systems. Each marble-floored, air-conditioned bedroom is furnished with a queen-size four poster canopied bed, a chair, bedside tables and lamps, while bold local artwork adorns the walls.
